MP Gets A Paxo Grilling at School Interview

WEST WORCESTERSHIRE MP Harriett Baldwin has been quizzed by budding school reporters as part of a national BBC project.

And the MP praised the keen reporters from Hanley Castle High School who grilled her on questions ranging from school funding to Brexit as part of the BBC Schools Report.

Harriett was one of a number of local people interviewed for the school project and the report will be published on Wednesday (March 15).

Harriett commented: “I was very impressed by the quality of the questions and the way each of the pupils took the task very seriously.

“The whole interview was carried out very professionally and I look forward to seeing the whole report when it is published.

“Jeremy Paxman himself was educated in Worcestershire and I am sure that he would have been impressed with the way local pupils are showing such skill in interviewing politicians on difficult subjects.”
