WEST WORCESTERSHIRE MP Harriett Baldwin joined local dignitaries welcoming an innovative software company to Malvern Hills Science Park.

Harriett was joined by Worcestershire County Council leader Simon Geraghty and Malvern Hills District Council economic development chief Phil Merrick to celebrate the arrival of D-RisQ to its new Malvern base.

D-RisQ was founded in 2012 by three former QinetiQ employees and now has 12 staff and a bright future working with Government and aerospace and automotive clients.

Harriett commented: “Malvern Hills Science Park is at the very heart of some of the most innovative work in the country and I am pleased to see yet another ambitious company choosing to base itself here.

“Worcestershire has a long legacy for invention and it is great that the county can district council are working closely to support the brilliant brains who are based in Malvern and its surrounding area.

“I wish D-RisQ every success and look forward to seeing them expand into even larger offices as it grows and takes on more staff.”

David Sheppard, one of the three founder directors of D-RisQ, added: “Our facilities are the world’s window on our company and as such must reflect the high-tech nature of the business.

“The way we have designed the space and installed the equipment does this for us perfectly and the science park is an ideal environment for our future development and growth.”
